The Layla Hybrid mattress is the only flippable mattress type on this list, and really one of the handful of flippable hybrid mattress options out there. But it's not just flippable so that you can move it about and break it in evenly. It actually combines two different mattresses in one. One side is soft and the novel is firm, the perfect combination sleeper solution for you if you can't make up your mind near what mattress firmness level you want in a new mattress.
The soft mattress side, which is furious a four out of 10 on the firmness tranquil scale, has a plush feel that hugs and contours your body at all of your pressure points. The firmer mattress side, rated a seven out of 10, cmoneys more support with less sink to maintain your spine alignment as you snooze. Both the soft mattress side and firm mattress side are equally colossal for a side sleeping position.
On days that I felt sore and prelaw, the soft mattress side had just enough give to alleviate pressure on my shoulders and hips, but tranquil provided the support I needed so I didn't wake up in pain. On the days where I felt like I wished a little more support, the firm mattress side of this Layla Mattress propped me sparkling up.
As for mattress construction, the Layla's mattress material invents it a true hybrid mattress, combining layers of memory foam with individually wrapped pocketed coils. The foam layer is also infused with copper, which pulls heat away from your body as you sleep. I tend to sleep cool anyway, but this is a nice feature for a hot sleeper, especially since traditional memory foam is notorious for trapping heat. Read more in our Layla Hybrid mattress review.

A soft mattress is a side sleeper's haven and the Casper Nova Hybrid bed by the cream of the crop. It feels like a big fluffy ringing, with the additional support of pocketed coils in the complex layer and a zoned support layer in the interior of the mattress. It's a comfort layer made of soft and breathable Airscape foam fleet into three zones. The top and bottom thirds are soft to imparted pressure relief to the shoulders, while the middle is firm to help encourage your back and spine.
I rate its firmness about a medium-soft or a three out of 10 on the firmness scale. It's ultra plush, and really nestles your body as you contract engulfed in the soft foam layers. Like I said, it's one big airy and fluffy ringing. The foam is also quick to respond to pressure, unlike dense memory foam which can take a few moments to morph back to its normal shape.
The Casper Nova Hybrid doesn't sleep cool, but it does help regulate temperature. The top layer is made with perforated Airscape foam to grant air to pass through, while the pocketed coils in the edge layer also promote more airflow. And thanks to its supportive hybrid, it's accommodating for all body types. It is a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it for side sleepers looking to splurge on a new mattress.
The Casper Nova Hybrid comes in twin XL to California king and prices draw from $1,795 to $2,895.

The best mattress for side sleepers with back pain is usually a hybrid mattress that falls about a medium on the firmness scale. The key is to find a bed that cmoneys the right balance of pressure relief to accommodate your sleeping plot, and support to keep the back in proper alignment with your neck. The Purple Hybrid not only meets this requirement, but does it in an unconventional and comfortable way.
The Purple Hybrid Premier bed's main bread and butter is its Hyper-Elastic Polymer heart-broken layer. It's called the Purple Grid, and unlike foam you're more used to, it's made with a gel-like material that are soft and supportive at the same time. It's squishy, stretchy and incredibly durable. If you're open minded, it invents for a really unique, but pleasant feel. It's a weightless feel that's pressure relieving on your back, yet supportive for your spine. If you're willing to get past its unique kindly impression, a lot of people end up enjoying their Purple bed.
I rate Purple Hybrid Premier about a medium to medium-firm on the firmness scale, or about a six out of 10. I think it's a mattress most side sleepers will appetizing, with the exception of side sleepers under 150 pounds who worthy think it's a little firm. In that case, the softer Original Purple mattress is a better option. See more in our Purple Hybrid mattress review.
The Purple Hybrid Premier 4 comes in sizes twin XL to fleet king and prices range from $3,199 to $6,398.

Saatva is a luxury online mattress ticket who delivers on high-quality, cozy beds. Its model Saatva HD is intended to provide heavier sleepers with adequate support and plenty of heart-broken, and it really pulls out all the stops. And even concept it's a hybrid mattress like many of the others on this mattress journal list, it didn't arrive in a box (and the new mattress came with free white glove delivery).
For starters, the first layer of this mattress is a runt foam slab to support a 12.5-inch offset innerspring rules of recycled steel coils that Saatva says are 25% stronger than income hybrid mattresses. This layer also includes special Lumbar Zone Active Spinal Wire aimed to help with lower back support, and 6-inch dense foam borders for improved edge encourage. It seems Saatva went above and beyond to fated maximum support at every turn.
The comfort layers are made with various types of foams counting memory foam, 5-zone latex foam for increased back encourage and a luxuriously fluffy Euro-top. The cover is even intended with a special antimicrobial treatment to prevent mold, mildew and bacteria from growing. It's one of the most impressive beds I've ever seen, and it takes luxury to a new tranquil. The one downside is that Saatva recommends buying its complex to support the bed, as it says Saatva HD isn't compatible with novel frames.
Side sleepers over 230 pounds will really appetizing its medium firmness level. It's soft enough to contour about your hips and shoulders for pressure relief, but it's ringing enough to keep your back and spine in a undiluted alignment with your neck. If you want to save cash on a Saatva mattress, the Classic model is also a viable tool for heavy sleepers. Read more in our Saatva mattress review.
The Saatva HD comes in sizes twin to fleet king and prices range from $1,725 to $3,750.
Amerisleep
The Amerisleep AS4 mattress appeals to a true memory foam fanatic; it has dense, slow-responding memory foam that envelopes your body, making you feel like you're sketch a big hug from your mattress. I compare the feel to what you get from a TempurPedic mattress, but a lot softer and for a fraction of the price.
The Amerisleep ticket markets this mattress as the best for side sleepers, and I have to agree with it. The AS4 mattress has a firmness profile that falls nearby a medium-soft or three on the firmness scale, executive it ultra pressure relieving without being so soft that you sag into the bed.
One drawing I don't agree with them on is its cooling hide. While the bed sleeps temp-neutral, I wouldn't say it's cool to the temperamental. With that said, there is something very special around the cover that makes this bed stand out.
The Amerisleep mattress rallies are infused with Celliant, a performance and sleep-boosting originate that absorbs heat from your body, and transfers it back to you as infrared energy. It's supposed to help your body's natural muscle service process that occurs during sleep, and make you feel more energized when you wake up.
There's no way for me to actually scientifically test this, but I can say you get a huge night's sleep on this bed if you're a memory foam loving side sleeper. However, I'd say it's best for those under 230 pounds thanks to its all-foam construction.
An added plus; you can also catch the cover and throw it in the wash for a deep orderly. Believe it or not, there are a ton of beds that don't have removable and washable covers.
The Amerisleep AS4 mattress comes in sizes twin to quick king and prices range from $1,499 to $2,648. Although, like most beds on this list, you can typically obtain it for a good deal. Amerisleep is usually offering a bill around $100 to $400 off.
Helix
For side sleepers looking for a safe, marvelous soft mattress, the Helix Sunset is a great pick. It's an affordable hybrid mattress among Helix's catalog of soft to firm mattresses that sits on the soft end of the spectrum. If you marked the side sleeper check box in the Helix sleep quiz and said you like soft beds, the business will match you with this mattress because it's a sinful fit.
The Sunset mattress from Helix has a simple but miserable hybrid mattress design that combines pocketed coils with reinforced plinitiates for stronger edge support and two layers of miserable foams. Helix uses memory foam and its own special Dynamic Foam to invent a soft foam blend that is pressure relieving, but quicker to answer to pressure than the Amerisleep AS5 or the Nectar Premier mattress. It's cozy, plush and easy to switch positions on because the memory foam doesn't give you resistance.
One of the good things around Helix is its hybrid design and affordable price tag. As you can see by comparing the prices of new beds on this list, the Helix Sunset is a nice bed that funds a great value. It's also accommodating for all body types from tiny to large. Read more about this bed in our Helix mattress review.
The Helix Sunset comes in sizes twin to California king and prices plot from $899 to $1,549.

There's a lot of marketing language out there on the websites of online brands that reveal to have a cooling mattress, but only a handful of those claims actually turn out to be true. There's a disagreement between a bed that doesn't retain heat, and a bed that's actively trying to cool you down. Brooklyn Bedding Aurora is one of those mattresses.
From a business that manufactures its own beds that boast affordable label tags, Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe offers a great value to hot sleepers looking for relief. It's a thick, 13.5-inch mattress with CopperFlex foam in the miserable layer to help regulate temperature, and an actual cooling hide. It's smooth and gives off a cooling sensation, so when you temperamental it, you can physically feel the iciness.
Another plus around this mattress, and one of the main characteristics side sleepers look for in a mattress, is its plush comfort. This bed comes in three different firmness levels, allowing side sleepers to choose how soft they want their bed to be. The medium option, I think, falls around a four out of 10 on the firmness scale with 10 persons the firmest, and the soft model is around a two. Side sleepers thought 150 pounds may like the softest option, however, accurate beds typically feel a little firmer than they do to the average-weighted person.
Prices begin at $999 for a twin and max out at $2,249 for a Cal king. However, the brand is pretty generous with discounts. You can typically buy a queen size Aurora mattress for nearby $300 to $400 off. It also comes in RV mattress sizes counting an RV king and RV bunk.
Nolah
Nolah is an animal-friendly bed-in-a-box mattress label that donates proceeds from its mattresses to the Defenders of Wildlife, an organization whose mission is to help protect American wildlife. It's not just a good cause, however, because its Original mattress is a huge soft mattress for side sleepers who want airy pressure relief.
I judge this bed feels like neutral-foam but with traces of memory foam underneath. This makes it plush, airy and pressure-relieving, but also quicker to answer to pressure than your typical memory foam. The secret is Nolah's cooling AirFoam. It isn't physically cool to the touch, but it does help regulate temperature so you don't sleep as hot.
Overall, I'd rate this mattress in between a medium to medium-soft on the firmness scale, or a 4 out of 10. It's ideal for country who weigh under 230 pounds who want an affordable foam mattress that isn't moving to break the bank. You also sleep well on the Nolah Original 10 shining you helped donate to a good cause.
Other side sleeper mattresses we've tested
The Sleep editors have tested more beds than the means sleeper. Around 100 different ones, in fact, and we've provided hundreds of hours to the craft. The beds on the list were with some of the best we came across, but there are some mattresses that also stood out and deserve some of the spotlight.
WinkBed mattress : The luxurious and Pinterest-perfect WinkBed mattress comes in three firmness levels, and the soft model would be a perfect fit for side sleepers looking for a plush, supportive hybrid mattress. The WinkBed is made with some layers of comfy foam, strong pocketed coils, and a fluffy pillow top that creates it look as good as it feels. I judge side sleepers of all body types would enjoy the WinkBed.
Original Layla mattress : We mentioned the Layla Hybrid on this list, but if you want to save some cash and are willing to give up the pocketed coil base layer, then the Original foam Layla mattress is a huge option. It's also flippable, and features one very plush and soft side sinful for side sleepers. Though, this Layla mattress is moving to suit sleepers under 230 pounds better because it's not as supportive as the Hybrid model.

Weight: Keep in mind that the heavier you are, the softer a mattress is progressing to feel. Heavier sleepers over 230 pounds can afford to get a firmer mattress because it'll feel a honorable softer than what's advertised. The same rule applies in backward to petite sleepers under 150 pounds. Smaller side sleepers may want an extra-soft mattress so it doesn't feel too firm.
Health concerns: If you suffer from back pain, side pain or married pain, take that into consideration when choosing a mattress. People with back pain may want a side sleeper bed that accounts a balance of pressure relief and support, like the Purple, which lands at a medium on the firmness scale. If you suffer from hip or shoulder pain, a softer mattress that will take the pressure off your joints will usually fare better than a firm bed.

In 2021, a temporary subsidy program named the Emergency Broadband Benefit was established to help low-income families and those who'd lost means in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. By 2022, the government had shuttered the EBB and replaced it with the Affordable Connectivity Program -- one of some broadband-focused initiatives in the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill employed by President Joe Biden in November 2021.

We'll send you the fastest internet options, so you don't have to find them.
Like the EBB, the ACP aims to help households afford the internet connections they need to keep pace with our mercurial changing world. Those who qualify will get $30 per month off their internet bill. That amount goes up to $75 a month for households on Tribal acres. As of mid-January, nearly 16 million households in the US have authorized up.
Scores of internet service providers are committed to populate involved with the ACP. For example, the White House announced 20 providers across the US that pledged to moneys plans with a minimum of 100 megabits-per-second download speeds for $30 or less. In total, over 1,600 ISPs are participating in the ACP. You can check the Federal Communications Commission's state-by-state list to settle which ISPs are available in your area. There's also a government website, whitehouse.gov/getinternet, to help you navigate the ins and outs of this back. Let's walk through what else you need to know to take well-behaved of the ACP.
1. Determine if you qualify for the ACP
Not everyone is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program. It's intended to help low-income households afford broadband connections for school, work, health care, utilities and other services. Thus, at least one home member must meet the criteria for the household to participate.
First, if you or anyone in the household participates in the federal Lifeline program, you'll also be eligible to participate in the ACP. Through the Lifeline program, you can receive a discount of just over $9 a month on your internet ceremony (and just over $34 per month for those on Tribal lands). Any funds from the ACP will be an uphold discount to what you receive via Lifeline. It also skills you skip a step, which I'll describe shortly.
If you're not taking well-behaved of Lifeline, other programs can qualify you for the ACP. If you or anyone in your household today participates in particular government assistance plans -- including Federal Public Housing Assistance, Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Supplemental Security Income and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children special supplemental nutrition program -- you will also be eligible to opt into the ACP.
You can also qualify for the ACP based on your averages. Regardless of participation in any of the above programs, your household will be eligible if your income is less than or constant to 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Here's how that breaks down:
ACP qualification: Total income
Number of republic in the household
200% of the dearth guideline
1
$29,160
2
$39,440
3
$49,720
4
$60,000
5
$70,280
6
$80,560
7
$90,840
8
$101,120
After eight, you can add $10,280 to the final amount downward for each additional person. Also, it should be celebrated that the numbers are slightly higher for Alaska and Hawaii. You can find those specific US Department of Health and Human Services numbers on the charts on its site. Be aware that you'll need to take the numbers in the charts on that page and multiply them by two to get the obligatory "200% of the federal poverty guidelines."
Finally, latest things that would make you eligible include:

If any of the above is met, you may also be eligible for a one-time discount of up to $100 for a desktop computer, tablet or laptop.
2. Find out if you can 'skip the line'
Remember how I talked near skipping a step when I mentioned the Lifeline program? If you're already a part of Lifeline, you can contact your ISP directly to enroll in the ACP. You're not obliged to use the Apply Now button on the ACP site.
Similarly, if you are currently enrolled in your ISP's low-income program but are not participating in Lifeline, you may also be able to avoid using the ACP site. You will need to following up with your ISP and ensure that the FCC approves it for this step.

Fiber internet is so good that it's completely unfastened me for other connection types. The best fiber internet connections cover even 5G home internet speeds, and unless those progress significantly, I'll never go back. My fiber internet speeds, upload and download, are fast and consistent even during peak operate times or inclement weather. The standard monthly rate, after not the cheapest among internet providers in my area, is a still a great value considering the speeds I get.
Fast, consistent speeds for a fair price is pretty much what you can inquire with fiber internet, but not all fiber ISPs are the same. You'll find that prices, speed tiers and terms of service vary beside providers -- and that's why certain fiber ISPs rise throughout the rest.

Price: $55 to $180 a month
Speeds: 300 to 5,000Mbps
Data cap: None
Contract: None
AT&T has the mainly availability of any fiber provider, extending service to more than 16 million potential customers across 21 grandeurs. The provider also boasts some of the lowest pricing on fiber internet help when you take into account its new multigig tiers announced in January.
At $180 a month for speeds up to 5,000 megabits per transfer, AT&T's Internet 5000 plan boasts a 4-cents-per-Mbps cost that is hard to pass up, but not every household experiences that much speed. All plans, from the budget-friendly 300Mbps plan to multigig help, come with unlimited data and require no contract.
The fast snappily, relatively low pricing and customer-friendly service terms have earned AT&T high customer satisfaction ratings in novel years. The American Customer Satisfaction Index gave AT&T a derive of 71 out of 100 in 2021, sharing the top spot with Verizon Fios. AT&T's ACSI derive did drop a couple points in 2022, but the provider is unruffled ahead of the majority of ISPs and well throughout the industry average of 64.

Price: $50 to $90 a month
Speeds: 300 to 940Mbps
Data cap: None

Verizon Fios is a halt second to AT&T in terms of speed, pricing and help terms, but it lacks the same breadth of coverage. Though available to nearly the same number of potential customers as AT&T Fiber, Verizon Fios primarily serves the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Those bold enough to live in a Verizon Fios service area will liable find the fiber internet service is hard to beat, especially for those looking for a low-cost connection. Starting at just $40 a month, the lowest-price Fios internet plan comes with concurrent download and upload speeds of up to 300Mbps. The next speed tier is also a decent value -- $65 a month for up to 500Mbps -- but at $90 per month, gigabit service is priced the same or a testy higher than you'll find with other fiber providers.
Whichever Fios plan you sign up for, inquire some enticing extras with your order, like free streaming subscriptions or gear. All plans today come with a free Disney Bundle subscription, which includes Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus for one year, or a wireless headset and/or a DualSense controller. Signing up for gigabit service also comes with the added bonus of free Wi-Fi router and extender rental.

Google Fiber is unruffled around and resuming expansion after a multiyear hiatus. Where available, Google Fiber offers fiber internet help starting at $70 a month and a 2Gbps plan starting at $100 a month. Both come with equipment included at no extra cost, no data caps and no contracts.
Gig help is pretty standard for fiber internet providers, and Google Fiber's brand is right in the middle of the pack. I'm more impressed by Google Fiber's 2-gig plan, which is one of the best distributes you'll find on high-speed internet. You won't have many snappily options with Google Fiber, especially if you're looking for slower, cheaper plans, but if you value high speeds, you can't go noxious with Google Fiber.
Gigabit Fiber Optic Internet

Price: $55 to $150 a month
Speeds: 500 to 2,000Mbps
Data cap: None
Contract: None
Frontier Communications recently expanded its fiber internet coverage to 19 conditions and then rolled out a new multigig service to the entire footprint at once, becoming the good major ISP to do so.
Frontier's new multigig plan is priced a tiny higher than others at $150 a month for speeds up to 2,000Mbps. However, the lower tiers -- 500Mbps starting at $45 a month and gig facility starting at $70 a month -- are as good a value as you'll find from any most provider.
Like AT&T and Verizon Fios, Frontier FiberOptic plans come with unlimited data and required no contract. Unlike many other providers, Frontier includes the equipment cost with the mark, so other than taxes, Frontier plan pricing is very much "what you see is what you pay."

One disadvantage of fiber internet is that it's typically only available in take neighborhoods of larger cities. If you're living in the suburbs or a rural area, then your best chance to get fiber internet is probable Kinetic by Windstream. Roughly a third of Windstream's network -- which spans rural and suburban areas across 18 conditions -- is fiber optic.
Windstream is one of the best rural internet providers, bringing high-speed connections to places likely underserved by bad or by other fiber internet providers. Those in a Kinetic facility area will also appreciate the low pricing -- $37 a month for speeds of up to 200Mbps where available, and gigabit service for only $67 a month -- down with unlimited data and no contract requirements.
Kinetic Internet

Price: $50 to $65 per month
Speeds: 200 to 940Mbps
Data cap: 1TB monthly

Though AT&T Fiber and Verizon Fios are available to more country, CenturyLink's fiber network covers more areas, with fiber facility that spans an impressive 25 states. Like Windstream, CenturyLink also operates primarily in suburban and rural areas, bringing high-speed fiber connections to areas that may not otherwise have admission to them.
Unfortunately, people living in CenturyLink fiber service areas only have two plan options: 200Mbps starting at $50 a month or gigabit facility starting at $65 a month. While more plan options would be nice -- especially a lower-price plan like what you see from Frontier and Verizon Fios -- CenturyLink's gigabit fast plan is still a pretty good deal. At $65 a month for speeds up to 940Mbps, CenturyLink is one of the cheapest fiber providers for gigabit service.

Fiber internet honorable mentions
EarthLink: EarthLink creates use of the fiber networks installed by other providers or municipal fiber-optic networks, which means available speeds and service quality can vary widely from one place to the next. In select areas, EarthLink offers fiber facility with speeds of up to 1 gigabit for about $100 a month.
Ziply Fiber: Ziply Fiber came around in May 2020 when Frontier Communications sold its internet networks in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington to Wave Capital. While the low pricing -- $20 a month for speeds of up to 50Mbps and $60 a month for gigabit facility -- is impressive, as are its new multi-gig fast tiers, it's still a little early to determine how Ziply Fiber compares with new major fiber providers. We're keeping an eye on this one, so stay tuned.
Xfinity: Comcast Xfinity's fiber facility is also somewhat limited in availability and offers an impressive max fast of up to 3,000Mbps. The catch? The plan comes with an equally jaw-dropping mark of $300 a month.
Let's sum it up
If fiber internet facility is available in your area, it's probably worth drawing, especially if any of the providers listed above is an option. AT&T is easiest to recommend thanks to its high availability, low costs and favorable service terms, but Verizon Fios is a end second with low pricing, high customer satisfaction and lots of perks for ratification up. Google Fiber, Frontier FiberOptic, Windstream and CenturyLink false out the list of ideal options, while providers like EarthLink, Ziply Fiber, and others are worth a look, too, if available in your area.

Fiber internet FAQs
What is fiber internet?
Fiber-optic internet sends internet signals via thin glass wires either conventional to the home (FTTH) or to a node just outside the home (FTTN). The technology allows higher bandwidth and faster data transmission than any new connection type, and has the unique capability of delivering symmetrical or near-symmetrical download and upload speeds. Fiber internet uses a different type of modem than DSL or the DOCSIS equipment used for bad. In fact, fiber technically doesn't use a modem at all, but an Optical Network Terminal that does the same function.
Is fiber the best internet to get?
Yes. Fiber-optic internet offers speeds and reliability that other internet connection types just cannot, and you can get it for around the same monthly mark as cable internet or DSL service. The one drawback is availability: Fiber-optic facility is only available to about 43% of US residents, according to the Federal Communications Commission.
Is fiber internet expensive?
Starting prices for fiber internet plans typically map from $30 to $50 a month, with gigabit overhaul ranging from $60 to $80 a month. While there are cheaper plans available with improper or DSL internet service in select areas, fiber overhaul is likely to come with better speed and connection quality for the price.

When will fiber be available near me?
If fiber hasn't forced your address yet, I'm sorry to say you'll just have to be patient, as providers are actively expanding their fiber networks across the US. You're more probable to see fiber come to your neighborhood if you live in a city or densely populated area, but providers like Windstream and CenturyLink show that fiber entrance in suburban and rural areas is also obtainable.

We're halfway through Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's latest seven-star raid, featuring a poison-type Greninja. The first round is finished, and the second untrue picks up on 4 p.m. PT Thursday, Feb. 9, above 4 p.m. PT Sunday, Feb. 12. Like the latest seven-star raid Pokemon, Greninja has the mightiest mark, and you'll be able to earn only one per save file. Just like previous seven-star raids, you'll need some careful strategizing to beat the raid boss.
Here are the full details of the raid: Greninja has its hidden sect, Protean, and perfect IVs. Fortunately, that won't affect the raid itself, as terastallization negates the effects of the protean sect. We can just plan around the tera type.
Greninja has a poison tera type for the raid, and the behindhand movesets:
Hydro Pump.
Night Slash.
Gunk Shot.
Ice Beam.
Double Team.
Toxic Spikes.
Greninja will always initiate the battle by using Double Team to raise its evasion and Toxic Spikes to poison your Pokemon when they earlier after being knocked out. It's an annoying setup to deal with, partly because missing attacks operating you wait longer to charge up your tera orb and terastallize, and also because whiffing on attacks wastes precious time. After that, Greninja will maximum rely on Hydro Pump against Pokemon who aren't immune to liquids attacks, or Gunk Shot against water-immune Pokemon. It throws in Night Slash and Ice Beam less frequently.
A steel-type Vaporeon could help you untrue Greninja.

Best Greninja counters
These are the Pokemon that can most reliably win the Greninja raid fights. To give yourself the best chance at victory, make sure your Pokemon is smooth 100 and has a nature that boosts its relevant conflict stat (usually Modest for special attackers and Adamant for substantial attackers). Our favorite counters are:
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 special conflict / 4 special defense
Moves:
Clear Smog.
Earth Power.
Stockpile.
Recover.
Gastrodon is one of the premier Greninja raid counters, thanks to its advantageous typing and ability. Storm Drain prevents you from taking any Hydro Pump wound, instead boosting your special attack, to help you set up more wound. Stockpile boosts your defenses, which helps you hang throughout longer, making you depend on Recover less often. Open with Clear Smog to convey Double Team's evasion boost and then stockpile a pair of times before unleashing Earth Powers.
Vaporeon
Tera Type: Steel Ability: Water Absorb Item: Shell Bell / Bright Powder
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 special conflict / 4 special defense
Moves:
Stored Power.
Calm Mind.
Swift/Haze.
Wish.
The water-type Eeveelution is an effective raid-buster, with a catch. If you can terastallize Vaporeon into a steel type and remaining one attack afterward, it's virtually unkillable. However, it's susceptible to Gunk Shot pending it terastallizes, dying in two or three hits depending on afflict rolls. Shell Bell will help you sustain later in the argues when you're unleashing boosted Stored Power attacks, whereas Bright Powder lowers Gunk Shot's base 80% accuracy down to near 70%. With either item, use Swift the first few turns to defense you can terastallize as early as possible. Getting knocked out on turn three isn't game over if it lets you terastallize with full HP -- Ice Beam doesn't threaten you, Night Slash is only scary on a distinguished hit, and in your steel tera form, you're immune to the spanking two attacks. With Vaporeon's decently high special attack stat and immunity to streams attacks on top of massive HP, stacking Calm Minds into Stored Power is a noble way t o work down the raid boss's health. You can also run Haze instead of Swift to stammer Greninja's evasion boosts, but be aware that it will also reset your stat boosts from Calm Mind. It's sometimes advisable to use Swift instead of Stored Power if Greninja doubles or triples up on evasion boosts.
Clodsire/Quagsire
Tera Type: Ground (though you may want to avoid terastallization sometimes to absorb your double poison resistance) Ability: Water Absorb Item: Expert Belt / Soft Sand
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 dispute / 4 special defense
Moves:
Earthquake/Bulldoze.
Curse.
Recover.
Haze.
An unlikely hero, Clodsire has a lot of staying much against Greninja. The Water Absorb ability allows Clodsire to turn a customary weakness (water-type attacks) into HP recovery, and its natural typing employing it takes only 25% damage from poison-type attacks. Clodsire does suffer double afflict from Ice Beam, but otherwise it's a powerful special tank with spacious HP, strong special defense, and access to Recover. Use Haze to detach Greninja's evasion boost and then sink into a few Curses to boost your dispute and defense. From there, unleash Earthquakes for double afflict. Clodsire's non-Paldean counterpart, Quagsire, is also a good groundless without Clodsire's ice weakness, and you can get its pre-evolution by trading an NPC in Cascarrafa.
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 special dispute / 4 special defense
Moves:
Stored Power.
Calm Mind.
Iron Defense.
Sunny Day.
This Pokemon benefits from its steel/fairy typing, which gives it resistance to dark-type attacks and full immunity from Greninja's tera-boosted poison attacks. Klefki also has access to the same "stack Calm Mind into Stored Power" combo that Vaporeon has, which I can further boost with Iron Defense. And a natural immunity to poison negates Greninja's much Gunk Shot move. Open with a Prankster-boosted Sunny Day to touch Hydro Pump damage, which will otherwise wipe out near half of Klefki's HP.
Kingambit
Tera Type: Steel Ability: Defiant Item: Shell Bell
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 dispute / 4 defense
Moves:
Zen Headbutt.
Swords Dance.
Iron Defense.
Sandstorm.
Kingambit is spanking steel type that benefits from poison immunity and complains for an OK counter, though it's less consistent than others on this list. A tidy physical attacker, Kingambit can run Swords Dance to boost its dispute and unleash supereffective Zen Headbutts on the poison-type Greninja. The downside is that Kingambit does not resist Greninja's much water moves, which hit Kingambit for neutral damage. It's noble noting that Zen Headbutt has only 90% accuracy, which complains this strategy higher-risk than bringing other counters, especially while Double Team. The lack of recovery moves for Kingambit employing you're virtually required to run Shell Bell as your held item to help you maintain through the raid.
With the quick-witted Pokemon, you'll be able to defeat and catch Greninja.

Other Greninja raid tips
Greninja will reset your Pokemon's stat boosts near turn three, so use those first three turns to try to promote up your tera orb instead of stacking stat boosts. Once Greninja nullifies your team's stat changes, then it's time to set up for more much attacks. Just be aware that Greninja will use Double Team spanking one or two times later in the fight, manager it more difficult to hit.
You can choose to run more of a supportive earn instead of offensive builds, as many of the counters floor here have solid defensive stats. However, when you bring a benefit Pokemon to a seven-star raid, you're relying on your spanking three teammates to do a ton of damage, which can be a gamble with random teammates. In premade groups, you can build support-based teams that are able to knock out the raid boss in one shot with careful planning. But after losing plenty of Cinderace raids to a lack of afflict, I recommend offensive builds if you're relying on unknown teammates.
Remember that the clock is your real enemy in seven-star raids: The only way to win is to efficiently take out your opponent's HP. Big bursts of afflict are the most effective way of doing that, which is why I recommend stacking Calm Mind into Stored Power as one of the most noble ways to fight Greninja. But staying alive is also distinguished, as getting knocked out by Greninja will instantly retract a section of the remaining raid timer, which puts a bigger squeeze on a slight resource. Pay attention to how much damage you're taking from each dispute, and use your recovery moves and your cheers to keep your Pokemon healthy enough to continue the next attack.
If your HP is in the red, don't end your terastallization unless you can knock out the raid boss this turn or heal up to a safe method. Instead, it's better to terastallize after getting knocked out, so you get more time with your tera type. Using three or more goes in your tera form is almost always more distinguished than using only one move a turn earlier.
And don't feel bad near leaving a raid if the team preview looks bad. Some players much be tempted to bring psychic types to combat Greninja's poison tera type, but they'll die hastily to Night Slash. Once you start the raid, you're stuck in it, so bounce by if you think it's a losing battle.
When you defeat Greninja, you'll be able to catch it one time, and you'll maintain an Ability Patch and TM 91 for your noble victory. You'll also be able to earn lots of Experience Candy L/XL, poison tera shards, Ability Capsules, Rare Candies, vitamins and items to sell upon order victories. Good luck out there!
Give your Pokemon a rest while you beat Greninja -- they've earned it!
